Words for me, 27/06: Cute meet
Eep, I missed a week of Make, Share, Repeat! I have a post coming up tomorrow which will explain why exactly. Moving on, here is my piece for this week. Cute meet makes me think of a Lolita meetup. It then got me thinking of something/someone that’s trying so desperately to be cute, but just ends up sort of awkward. So, what better accompaniment then my incredibly awkward hand lettering skills? (Yes, if you know of any calligraphy classes, I’m interested!). I think meeting Lolitas that you know of online can be sort of awkward, although personally it seems other people have higher levels of awkward-ness than I do. I think this is why it’s important to act the same way you do online as you would in real life, and not to share things online that you wouldn’t in real life. Knowing too much about people I haven’t met nor even engaged in wanting to know much about can make meeting them a bit strange.
